This radiant and sparkling aquamarine has such an bright inner light to her that seems to glow on the finger. The style of this beautiful piece helps us date her, with the use of mostly rose and yellow gold and those quintessential shoulders she is c1940s and so fabulous. Due to the lack of mining and gem trade during the War the 1940s really loved a good aquamarine or citrine for impact and as such they often use them as the centre of the piece. The gold in the setting was used to offer the best impact, often in volutes, swirls or panels on each shoulder. Her hand textured rose gold panels with a yellow gold band really offsets the tranquil blue of this natural aquamarine. This is such a wearable size with its lower profile. The aquamarine is eye clean and in good condition with minimal wear. Gold has some wear please see pictures of shoulder.
