Some pieces hold special histories that are lost to time! I am thrilled to know first hand the story of this gemstone. This pale citrine was hand fossicked by my dads friend. He has been a long time fossicker and rockhound. This pieces was found in the area of Gippsland 20yrs ago. He hand cut it and it has been apart of his collection for years. He recently called me to say he wants them to be seen and enjoyed so I chose a few special pieces to purchase (I also kept some for my sons). I had this setting at home that actually had a quartz in it but it was cracked. So I knew it would be perfect to bring this slice of sunshine into the world. Her scalloped curved edges and wide upswept shoulders are absolutely luminous. Hallamrked 9ct light wear to gold.
