Enamoured with this delicate antique moonstone festoon necklace! Each gemstones has its own characteristics that move and glow as the light hits them. Stunning blue adularecence is present within many of these pieces. This style of necklace is something also refered to as a fridge necklace and often echoed the lace and details of the clothes favoured in the Edwardian time period. It sits perfectly on the decolotage and projects that etheriral shine they are so well known for. Tested as sterling silver as no hallmarks. There is one small solder repair please see photos. This is such a lucky find and it is ready to be enjoyed. Each moonstone is unique some high some shallow some blue some silver their imperfections are endearing!
