Cocktail Rings : A love story

I adore all rings but the cocktail ring holds a special place in my heart and has become what I am most known for finding. 

My love of Cocktail rings was fostered by what they represented to me. The outlandish style and the way they stood out was always something I admired. 

My Nanna was very independant and always seemed to be so in control and often wore jewellery she had purchased herself. These large and powerful rings represented freedom, choice and a strong sense of self. When I wear a cocktail rings they give me that same strength and confidence.  

My hope is that they can do that for you too!

Breathtaking blush pink kunzite c1960s in 9ct

The delicate yet eye catching blush pink of this natural gemstone is a joy to watch on your finger capturing the warmth of your skin. The setting is hallmarked 9ct and is English but the assay office and date letter have been lost to time. Looking at the style and design it is likely c1960s. It is such a striking setting to hold this gorgeous pink kunzite. The grooves in the gallery almost act like a frame of sun rays and surround this beautiful gemstone. Light wear to the ring and gemstone. Please note kunzite can fade if worn in direct light too often. It is sometimes referred to as the evening stone for this reason so please keep this in mind when purchasing.

Opulent carved Aquamarine drops 10ct yellow gold

Opulent droplets of hand carved aquamarine cascade down with the irresistible cool calming blue this gemstone is prized for. Each carving depicts scenes full of flowers, leaves and winding rivers leading to paradise The ethereal glowing cabochons that hold them securely are so well balanced and glow like moonstones on the ear. Made of 10ct yellow gold the studs are butterfly backed and the fluted ribbed gold caps finish off this stunning design. Each drop is approx 30cts but they don't feel overly heavy, perhaps due to the style and weight distribution across each ear. These are surprisingly wearable and something I have worn to lunch, shopping, due to the carved nature they don't look overly extravagant (yes I just said that ). Theirs is a subtle elegance and they are perfect for someone looking to celebrate themselves with something truly magical

Impressive Georgian Carnelian Intaglio Ring

This exquisite and impressive ring features a beautifully hand carved carnelian reverse intaglio with so much wonderful history. The intricate gothic lettering looks to be I W then you can see a belt circling the initials. This motif symbolises loyalty, strength, protection and sometimes eternity and was a popular design used in the Georgian period and was often used in heraldry. The rich 9ct yellow gold looks beautiful against the earthy hues of the carnelian stone. It's bold design and shape make it a great low profile statement piece. Light wear to gold and carnelian stone inline with age. Tiny chip to carnelian
