Bright parti sapphire ring with an abundance of Australian sapphires all oval cut to perfection. This 1970s piece is designed in the 1950s flower spray style to utilise the gorgeous sapphires coming out of Australia at the time! Parti sapphires first found popularity in the 1970s and were abundant and less known around the world and this often meant they only set them in silver. However now the high demand for them has driven prices upwards significantly. The tiered setting and leaf motif details really showcase the colours of these stunning sapphires from teal to navy to ocean blue and hint of green. What I most like is the balance this piece has, even though it's not symmetrical like so many rings. Acid tested silver with light wear to gems and metal. Some sapphire have natural colour zoning and inclusions.
