When we source vintage jewellery, we often don't get to know the secret pasts of the pieces! I am honoured to say the story of this gemstone is known personally to me. This gorgeous blue topaz was hand fossicked and handcut by my dads friend. He has been a long-time fossicker and rockhound and discovered this in the area of Gippsland 20 years ago. It has been a part of his collection for years, and he wants them to be seen and enjoyed, so I chose a few special pieces to purchase (I also kept some for my sons).
