Huge c1940s indicolite tourmaline set East West in 14ct Yellow Gold. This deep yet vibrant tourmaline is a huge 8.85cts eye clean with flashes of green and blue. I adore the gallery details with their floral motifs panels. It has been two bar claw set to the east and west of the stone, the shoulders are stepped to support the claws. The warmth of the gold really compliments the cool tones of this huge natural gemstone and the gold of this era often had a rosey hue to it.Some light wear to the gold & setting but gemstone had a polish and is in great condition.
