Monets Garden green spinel
I adore the intricate details often used c1930s design. The motifs present are always so beautiful being influenced by nature & architecture which was so celebrated throughout the period! This darling French silver ring features synthetic green spinel which was so popular as it provided instant colour and sparkle without the pricetag of emeralds or tourmalines. It has been framed in flowers and delicate metal work that is just so perfect for this old cut spinel. It features the crab hallmarks stamped on the outside of the band indicating a finesse of 800 silver commonly used in this period. The crab is noted for Paris 1838-1962 This low profile silver statement ring is so easy to wear and that brilliant green is truly so mesmerising. Wear to spinel & silver. Patina left on silver but could be polished back to bright new.
