Scrolling double ribbon shoulders of yellow gold rise up to hold this striking 21ct natural blue topaz as she seemingly captures the sky. This setting was all handmade in the 1940s UK with stunning arrowhead embellishments and lovely double corner claw settings. The beautifully detailed gallery and top notch craftsmanship is what I love from this era! The expanse and fingers coverage of this stunning slab of gemstone is so beautifully supported and disbursed for comfort. Hallmarked for 9ct UK but too faded to date,luckily this style is easy to identify. A few small flea bites to topaz and it sits below the setting at the back.
