Spectacular Art Deco ring with the most glorious ruby that is so full of life. Stunning fancy cut which almost has a rosecut feel to her facets and captures that light in big beautiful flashes showing off that deep pink hue synthetic rubies are adored for. The intricate design and use of heavy handmade 18ct white gold and platinum dates this to the c1930. The geometric gallery and the angles throughout the overall design are so architectural and this was so celebrated during the Art deco period. Each shoulder has been set with single cut diamonds and adorned with millegrain patterns and that Art Deco geometric style continues in each shoulder. This ruby has facet wear and is in good condition for close to 100yrs age thanks to its hardness these are great pieces for everyday wear along with that lower profile. Hallmarked and acid tested for 18ct & platinum she is so special and not something I have seen before.
