Vibrant antique ruby ring with so much character and presence! This bright and bold synthetic ruby has been bezel set with a halo of white paste to imitate diamonds & I think these old jewellers did a pretty good job! The contrasting white gold top looks lovely against the 9ct band. The rosey hue of the band also compliments the pink in the ruby and that knifes edge shank is another great feature. Some paste have dulled over time but that just adds to her authenticity and charm. Each paste has been lovingly bead set with hand mill grained details around each one.This ring dates to the Victorian era approx. 1900 but with no date marks its hard to be precise.
