Eureka!!! I struck gold with this absolutely amazing find! These rings are so hard to find I have found one before but it was in a different host rock. This signet ring features gold-bearing quartz which is one of the world's rarest forms of natural gold. Australia is one of the few locations in the world that these specimens can be found so I was ecstatic to find this fabulous piece to share! The way the bright white contrast with the glowing pure gold is just so fabulous. This classic signet is likely from the late 1970s when we know mining had picked up, there was a movement to natural gemstone forms and nugget style jewellery. Hallmarked 375 also helps us date her to this era. The fossicker and Indiana Jones in me just about squealed in delight as I just have such a passion for these pieces and finding them in Australia is so nice! Some wear to gold but quartz specimen in great condition.
