This gorgeous vintage rings feature Australian blue sapphires that have been set into a 1950s spray style cocktail ring. The ring was made of sterling silver in the 1970s and believe it or not these gemstones were so much more affordable and adundant in the 70s and 80s when these rings were made they were only placed in silver mounts. I have found a few of these over the years as old new stock from in Australia. The prices of Australian sapphires has since sky rocketed so they are a fabulous affordable way to enjoy a piece of our jewellery history and gemstones here in Australia.Some inclusions to gems and wear to silver inline with age
