There is nothing more striking than the chrome flashes through a natural tourmaline! They are so electric in their colour as the facets move! Chrome tourmaline has trace amounts of chromium and sometimes vanadium, similar to the elements that color emeralds, differing from regular green tourmaline (verdelite) colored by iron. This beauty has been set in a vintage 9ct yellow gold setting with lovely geometric cutouts in the gallery and four double claws that are always a favorite of mine! Some wear to gold and tourmaline has visible natural inclusions
