The depth of colour from this vibrant natural amethyst is a sight to behold. The elongated cut allows this to flow with the shape of your finger creating an elegant look and ease of wear. The purples switch from a deep vivid purple to lavender and even seems to take on a slight lilac when the sun hits. At a whopping 17.95ct she is bold and sumptuous and a highly sought after colour. This heavy ring was made c1967 by Fred Manshaw who was a London-based manufacturing jeweler, active from 1946-1988. He was known for high-quality 9ct gold items, including rings, lockets, cufflinks, and bracelets. This piece is no exception and those heavy thick claws and chain link gallery confirm the date of design.
