Majestic c1950s Aquamarine Cocktail Ring
The name aquamarine means sea water and this is such a amazing example with its bright clear blue hue reminiscent of the waters on the white sandy beaches i grew up on! I think most people associate the beach, water holes, swimming pools with a feeling of relaxation, wonderment and often times of serenity and calm. It is this reason I believe that this gemstone is so beloved and continues to capture our hearts. One look at your finger brings those thoughts, memories and feelings to you everyday and that is a wonderful gift to give yourself or a loved one!
This emerald cut natural aquamarine is set in 14ct white gold with a simple yet elegant four claw mount. Lovely swept up shoulders split to hold two beads on a centre grooved 2 mm band. Hallmarked FFF and circa 1950s

Art Deco Natural yellow sapphire ring 18ct white gold
Simply breathtaking!
This piece was such a exciting find for me as I adore yellow sapphires and one this size is very hard to find!
Just look at the astonishing brightness and clarity of this fabulous natural yellow sapphire. The 18ct white gold is the perfect choice to showcase the colour saturation of this huge oval modified brilliant cut yellow beauty! The Art Deco setting is such high quality with 12 brilliant cut diamonds along the shoulders, intricate scroll work gallery and those delicious millgrain edges. Perhaps my favourite detail is the sweet diamonds set in each corner of the face to surround that remarkable gemstone with some extra sparkle!
The huge 3.10cts really stands out and looks so impressive on the finger. Her square head sits so effortlessly with bands unlike so many round solitaires. Fabulous condition please refer to valuation for full gemstone specs the sapphire has some signs of heat treatment
Pease see listing for full details.
Vintage Australian parti sapphire spray ring 9ct white gold
Phenomenonal parti sapphire ring with an abundance of Australian sapphires all pear cut to perfection. This 1970s piece is designed in the 1950s flower spray style to utilise the gorgeous sapphires coming out of Australia at the time! Parti sapphires first found popularity in the 1970s and were abundant however now there are fewer and much smaller and with that they have become much rarer and more sort aftet. So purchasing secondhand pieces like this is a great investment. The tiered 9ct white gold setting really showcases the colours of these stunning sapphire. Then the combinatiom of the little textured leaves and pear sapphires have such a lovely botanical feel and flow. What I most like is the balance this piece has, even though it's not symmetrical like so many rings. Hallmarked and acid tested 9ct with light wear to gems and gold.
Size N
Weight 6.97g
Approx 3.5ct
Sits 13mm off the finger
Dark green to mid- light green with a mixture of blues. Sapphires have inclusions and some light wear to gold and gems.
Valued $7200
Cocktail Rings : A love story
I adore all rings but the cocktail ring holds a special place in my heart and has become what I am most known for finding.
My love of Cocktail rings was fostered by what they represented to me. The outlandish style and the way they stood out was always something I admired.
My Nanna was very independant and always seemed to be so in control and often wore jewellery she had purchased herself. These large and powerful rings represented freedom, choice and a strong sense of self. When I wear a cocktail rings they give me that same strength and confidence.
My hope is that they can do that for you too!
